attackshipsonfire: everyone else I know who likes modern art connects with it on an intellectual level, but I connect with it on a purely emotional level. When I see a good Rothko, something inside me stirs that’s entirely irrational. I just find something about it beautiful, and there’s no thought required to… I totally agree!
